August 18, 2015- Appeared at Camp Fit, 17 Old Main Street, Fishkill, NY, and spent the afternoon drawing with the Camp Fit kids. Thanks to Doug Salvati, the Camp Fit staff, and all of the campers for a terrific afternoon. See you all next year!

Took part in Free Comic Book Day from 10am-3pm at Dragon's Den, Poughkeepsie, NY and from 3:30pm on at Alterniverse, Hyde Park, NY. Thanks to Dave and the Dragon's Den team and Anthony, Cliff, and the Alterniverse team for the opportunity to share Free Comic Book Day with them and their customers. It was a terrific day. April 30, 2015- Completed a cover for Evil Hat Productions' The Pharaoh of Hong Kong, the latest in a series of novels set in the universe of the Spirit of the Century roleplaying game. This tale follows the adventures of Benjamin Hu in Southeast Asia. The digital version is available for Dinocalypse Trilogy Kickstarter backers. April 11, 2015- The Flower of Life Art Gallery and Tattoo City are hosting "Inspiration- A Tribute to the Master" a Frank Frazetta themed group art show opening Saturday, April 11th from 6pm-9pm at 1601 S. State Street, Lockport, IL 60441. I contributed a framed print of a Big Barda pencil drawing to this show. April 5-12, 2015- A print of the Dinocalypse Forever cover illustration is on display at the Cohoes Public Library. From their website: "A selection of over a dozen regional artists display their works at the Cohoes Public Library In honor of National Library Week. The Choose Cohoes for Art Committee has helped in the coordination of this display of artists, many who participated in their recent Cohoes Artist Showcase V and Moonlight Gala 2. This display offers a chance to see some fresh, local talent. It is free and open to everyone. Information about the group, which is open to all, can be found at the Choose Cohoes for Art Facebook page."

February 11, 2015- Topps Star Wars Masterwork is now available. You can see previews of the set of 106 sketch cards I contributed to this collectible card series. Also, feel free to view my Topps Star Wars artist returns from Chrome Perspectives, Return of the Jedi 3D, and Masterwork. All artist returns are available for purchase.

February 10, 2015-

Sketch collaborations, or jam pieces, from Jack “King” Kirby's 97th Birthday Celebration with Hero Initiative events are now up for bid at Hero Initiative's eBay auction store. In August 2014, the sketch collaborations were completed at various Jack “King” Kirby's 97th Birthday Celebration events sponsored by Excellent Adventures Comics, Ballston Spa, NY and Shmaltz Brewing, Clifton Park, NY. There are three pieces of art available from those events including a large-scale 22.5" x 28.5" New Gods sketch with art by Doug Hills, Paul Harding, and yours truly (see a preview of the New Gods sketch collaboration by Doug Hills, Paul Harding, and Christian N. St. Pierre). These three auctions are set to end on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, so head over and bid on these or other Hero Initiative offerings to support a worthy cause.

January 29, 2015- Completed a set of illustrations for an upcoming release from Fantasy Flight Games. Due to contractual obligations no details are available yet, so stay tuned for news and previews to come at a future date.

January 19, 2015- Completed a second set of 53 sketch cards for Topps' upcoming Star Wars Masterwork collectible card set, bringing my contribution to 106 cards total. The release date for this set has been shifted to early 2015. Stay tuned for updates, sketch card previews, and artist return information.

Appeared at Alterniverse 5th Annual Toys For Tots Toy Drive, Salt Point, NY. Thanks to Alterniverse's Anthony Just, Jim Dunaway, Cliff Parmeter, and Crystal Hausler; the Toys For Tots team and the Marines; and fellow guests. Completed a Toys For Tots with Green Lantern pencil drawing for the Alterniverse 5th Annual Toys For Tots Toy Drive to be held on Saturday, December 6th at Alterniverse, 2510 Route 44, Unit 7, Salt Point, NY. The pencil drawing will be part of a silent auction with proceeds to benefit Toys For Tots. Doors open at noon. Come and spend the day with us!

November 24, 2014-

Completed a cover illustration for Atlas Games' Through the Aegis: Developed Covenants. This Ars Magica supplement "provides five fully detailed covenants... Whether you use the covenants as a base for your characters, as rivals, or just plunder the library to stock your own, this book is full of material ready for use in your saga." Appeared at Jack “King” Kirby's 97th Birthday Celebration with Hero Initiative at Excellent Adventures, Ballston Spa, NY. Thanks to Excellent Adventures' John Belskis, all of the Jack Kirby and comic book fans who dropped by the store, and Tom and Pat from the Geek Culture podcast team. A percentage of store sales went to benefit Hero Initiative and I began work on my part of a New Gods sketch collaboration which will be part of Hero Initiative's Jack Kirby Birthday auction. Completed a pencil drawing of Storm from Marvel Comics' X-Men. The original drawing will be part of Albany Comic Con 13's Silent Art Auction. Albany Comic Con 13 is fast approaching and will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Convention attendees will be able to bid on the original art for this drawing, artwork donated by other artists, as well as comics and memorabilia. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc.

A framed digital print of the Stone's Throe cover will be on view at the 49th Annual Fence Show at The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Main Gallery, Troy, NY. The Fence Show runs from May 22 to June 29, 2014.

May 16-17, 2014-

A sample of the 106 sketch cards that I contributed to Topps' newly-released Star Wars Chrome Perspectives collectible card series will be on view at the 4th Annual Cohoes Artist Showcase being held at The Venue at St. Joseph's Church, 65 Congress Street, Cohoes, NY. This short but wonderful show is organized by the Choose Cohoes Arts Committee and coincides with Cohoes, NY's Heritage Days Festival.

A framed print of the Dinocalypse Now cover illustration will be part of the auction to benefit breast cancer research and the Choose Cohoes Arts Committee.

Thanks to Fred Neudoerffer, Kathy Klompas, and the Choose Cohoes Arts Committee for putting together such a fine selection of artists and thanks to Dan and Jen O'Neill for offering The Venue at St. Joseph's Church as the venue for the exhibit.

Completed a cover illustration for Turtel Onli's Nog: War For Planet Nuba. This graphic novel is part one of a two-part epic from the Father of the Black Age of Comics. The story follows the titular hero Nog and his fellow heroes of Team Blanga as they battle to protect their home planet from forces determined to tear it apart. April 6, 2014- Appeared at the Annual Baby Boomer Collectibles and Toy Show, Holiday Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Thanks to John and Matt Belskis, the convention goers, collectors, vendors, and artist alley neighbors for another great show. Like its counterpart Albany Comic Con, this show is growing in leaps and bounds and it's a pleasure to be part of it.

March 29, 2014-

This year’s Annual Baby Boomer Collectibles and Toy Show at the Holiday Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY will take place on Sunday, April 6th. The convention will focus on the 50th anniversary of G.I. Joe, "America's Movable Fighting Man" and the world's first action figure. Those who buy tickets for the early preview also receive a limited-edition print with G.I Joe artwork by yours truly, John Hebert, and Paul Harding.

Also, the Toy Show will have its own 50th Anniversary Limited Edition G.I. Joe doll. This 1960s era Joe doll kitted out for jungle warfare will be limited to only 25 in number. I was asked to contribute the box art for this Toy Show/Albany Comic Con Limited Edition action figure and you can see a preview of the box art on the digital art page.

March 19, 2014-

Visited the Van Corlaer Elementary School Autograph Club, Schenectady, NY. The Autograph Club at Van Corlaer Elementary School is a program designed to help the students study the importance of writing and reading by writing to celebrities, artists, authors, musicians, political figures, pop-culture personalities, and others and asking for an autographed photo along with a comment expressing the importance of reading. I was invited to spend this afternoon with the Autograph Club to discuss the fields of illustration and comic book art and, of course, to sign autographs for the students.

Thanks to teacher and club organizer Jennifer Paley for extending the invitation and for a tour of the Autograph Club's extensive collection. Thanks also to Van Corlaer staff members Kristen Olochnowicz, Greg Rice, Katherine Kirkpatrick, and Leanne Vacca. Special thanks to fellow guest Darrell Pinckney for helping to facilitate the get-together.

Thanks most of all to the students- Narayane, Chelsea, Angie, Bethany, Michael, Lorelai, Naved, Marvel, Selena, Jahnise, Jaden, Mackenzie, Giana Natalie, Lizette, Darryl, Jaeley, Mariah, Brady, Nahjiim, Kira, Bianca, Dylan, Alyssa, David, Liana, Kiara, Jennifer, Kalvyn, Kerianna, and Kalena- for their warm reception, thoughtful questions, and interest in the art of comic books and illustration. February 20, 2014- Evil Hat Productions' Zeppelin Attack! Kickstarter has reached it's goal of $21,700 and is now fully funded. If you haven't backed this deck builder card game set in the word of Evil Hat's Spirit of the Century roleplaying game it's not too late to show your support. The Evil Hat team have concocted a new stretch goal to boost the pledge amount and expand the scope of the game with the Doomsday Weapons Expansion. I've added more previews of the illustrations from Zeppelin Attack! on the Digital Art page. Take a look and stay tuned for more Zeppelin Attack! news and previews.

February 12, 2014- Completed a set of 106 sketch card for Topps' upcoming Star Wars Chrome Perspectives collectible card series. This series is scheduled for a May 2014 release. Stay tuned for news updates and sketch card previews.

January 22, 2014- Completed a cover for Evil Hat Productions' Stone's Throe, the latest in a series of novels set in the universe of the Spirit of the Century roleplaying game. This tale follows Amelia Stone as she encounters adventure, intrigue, and the Green-Eyed Monster on the streets, and rooftops, of 1930s Paris. December 7, 2013- Appeared at Alterniverse 4th Annual Toys For Tots Toy Drive, 2510 Route 44, Unit 7, Salt Point, NY. Thanks to Anthony, Crystal, Cliff, Jim, DJ Caleb, and the rest of the Alterniverse crew; the Toys For Tots team including the local Marines; local firefighter Jeff Moseman; and fellow guests Richard Clark, Ryan Browne, Mark McKenna, Nikkol Jelenic, David Rodriguez, and Jeff Bellio among others for a terrific day.

October 5, 2013-

Blackjack creator and writer Alex Simmons has posted a preview of the cover mock-up for Blackjack: The King Is Dead. The cover dress- logo, title, text- is subject to change, but in large part that is the direction we're headed toward.

Alex is providing the script and I am providing the artwork for this Blackjack one-shot comic book. The project has been in the discussion phase for some time, but we've set the release date for early to mid-2014 since production on the artwork has officially kicked into high gear. So stay tuned for this next installment of Blackjack high-adventure that pits our hero against the forces of evil in 1920s Tibet.

Alex will be appearing at New York Comic Con this weekend. If you're going to the convention, stop by table C4 to learn more about Blackjack and Blackjack: The King Is Dead.

Completed a cover for Atlas Games' Transforming Mythic Europe. This Ars Magica supplement has been slated for a December 2013 release. Ars Magica Line Editor David Chart says, "This book describes the magic and activities necessary to transform Mythic Europe, whether by creating an island for magi to rule, integrating the Order of Hermes into wider society, or starting a technological revolution... Magi have not changed Europe because they have not yet chosen to... Your magi may choose differently."

Appeared at Fantacon 2013, Marriott Hotel, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. After a 20 year hiatus Fantacon returns! And I'm proud to have been part of it. Thanks to Tom Skulan, Tim D'Allaird, Broome Spiro, and all of the excellent Fantacon staff and volunteers for a wonderful show. Best wishes to all of the awesome conventioneers, as well. Hope to see this show back for a second go-round in 2014.

September 8, 2013- Posted some Star Wars illustrations. These three pictures are based on a selection of cards from the Treasure Chest of Art card set I completed a few years ago. More to follow in the coming months.

August 28, 2013- Evil Hat Productions' Fred Hicks tweets still more art previews from the upcoming Zeppelin Armada (ZA) card game (or will it be Zeppelin Attack!?). The fleet begins to assemble with two heavyweight dreadnoughts The End Game and The Death's Head lining up along side the standard chassis The Columbia, while the attacks keep coming with the Ball Lightning Gun. Evil Hat Productions' Fred Hicks has tweeted a sneak peak at the Dinocalypse Forever cover. This snippet is form the cover illustration for the third and final installment in the Dinocalypse Trilogy by author Chuck Wendig. Scheduled release is Summer 2014, but you can see an early preview of the Dinocalypse Forever cover illustration on the digital art page.

Chris Hanrahan, Evil Hat Productions' Brand Manager and owner of EndGame Oakland in Oakland, CA, has tweeted this photo of his new Spirit of the Century product line store display. The picture shows a set of products ranging from the pulp roleplaying game Spirit of the Century to the action-packed board game Race To Adventure to the first two installments in the Dinocalypse Trilogy and is a visual record of the more than 8-and-a-half year long relationship I've had with Fred Hicks and Evil Hat Productions as a freelance artist contributing illustrations and helping to build and expand the reaches of the Spirit of the Century universe. Thanks for having me along for the ride, fellas. Here's to many more years to come!

Prints of the Khan of Mars cover, the Dinocalypse Now cover, and their respective pencil drawings will be on display and for sale at this year's 3rd Annual Cohoes Artist Showcase being held at St. Joseph's Church, 65 Congress Street, Cohoes, NY. This short but wonderful show is organized by the Choose Cohoes Arts Committee and coincides with Cohoes, NY's Heritage Days Festival.

A framed print of Air Vader and a copy of the brand new Christian N. St. Pierre Sketchbook Volume 2 with an original sketch of the Cohoes Mastodon will be part of the auction to benefit breast cancer research and the Choose Cohoes Arts Committee.

The first 100 fans were treated to a complimentary Star Wars Day print featuring images culled from my contribution to the Treasure Chest Foundation 2010 fundraising effort. Race to Adventure (RTA) reaches the finish line!

Evil Hat Productions has announced the official wrap-up of their Race To Adventure Kickstarter campaign with the shipment of copies of the game to all US-based backers.

Race to Adventure and the Hollow Earth/ Dinocalypse Now supplement are now available for purchase by non-backers via the Evil Hat Productions website or you can inquire at your favorite local gaming store. Retailers should contact Alliance Game Distributors and ACD Distribution, among other game distributors, or contact Evil Hat Productions directly to inquire about how to get Race to Adventure into your store.

To coincide with the wrap-up, more Race To Adventure character portraits have been added to the RTA section of the Digital Art page. Four of the new portraits are characters done for RTA Kickstarter backers who supported the project at the $400 level and the other is a protrait of a new, regular character in the Spirit of the Century universe called Bulls-Eye.

January 17, 2013- Evil Hat Productions has posted a sneak preview of the preliminary pencil drawing for the Khan of Mars cover (Kickstarter update #28).

January 8, 2013- Completed a set of 12 interior, pencil illustrations for Atlas Games' Ars Magica supplement Antagonists. Antagonists is slated for a February 2013 release and I will post previews then, so stay tuned. In the meantime enjoy the Antagonists cover illustration.
