November 22, 2010- Congratulations to Evil Hat Productions! The Dresden Files RPG has won the 2010 Golden Geek for Best Artwork/Presentation and the 2010 Golden Geek for Game of the Year.

Appeared at Neoncon, Tropicana Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV. Neoncon is dedicated to celebrating and promoting excellence and education in table-top gaming, and I was proud to be a part of it once again.

Five pieces have been accepted to be part of an exhibition of zombie-inspired artwork that will be on view at the Dead Presidents Lounge, 1092 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY.

All of these framed prints are available for purchase at the gallery. For those of you that have seen me at a convention, Red Feather is the zombie that adorns my convention banner (sorry, no website preview yet).

This exhibition will run from October 30 to December 11, 2010. An opening reception is planned for Saturday, October 30 and will run from 8 to 10pm.

Appeared at Albany Comic Con 6, Holiday Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Another bigger and better offering in the Albany Comic Con series from show-organizer John Belskis.

The Albany Comic Con convention variant cover Argonauts #3, from Timeless Journey Comics was a success. Series creator and writer Keith Dallas was a great and generous neighbor during the show. Thanks again to John, Keith, and Timeless Journey Comics' Kevin Powers for asking me to be part of it.

Completed the Albany Comic Con 6 Argonauts #3 variant cover. Thanks to Albany Comic Con's John Belskis, Argonauts writer/creator Keith Dallas, and Timeless Journey Comics publisher Kevin Powers for asking me to be part of this project and for making this such an enjoyable collaboration.

The variant issue is slated for release at this Fall's Albany Comic Con 6 held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Holiday Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY.

Posted a preview of the cover artwork for Atlas Games' Thin Black Line. This direct-to-PDF Unknown Armies supplement details the warrior priest Order of St. Cecil. The supplement is written by Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies' author Chad Underkoffler and produced by Jeff Tidball.

A release date for the PDF hasn't been set yet, but you can see a preview of the Thin Black Line cover art and the announcement from the Atlas Games blog.

July 14, 2010-

I was asked to create the Albany Comic Con convention variant cover for Keith Dallas' Argonauts #3, from Timeless Journey Comics. The variant issue is slated for release at this Fall's Albany Comic Con 6 held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Holiday Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. More news to come as the project unfolds.

July 13, 2010-

Posted a series of sketch cards completed for The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation charity art sale. These 50 drawings were included with hundreds of others from various artists as part of the charity event.

Appeared at Origins Game Fair, Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, OH. Thanks to neighbors Andy Hopp, Jeff Carlisle, Heather Kreiter, Veronica V. Jones and family, and many others who made my first appearance at Origins a memorable occasion.

Congratulations to the folks at Evil Hat Productions on their newly released Dresden Files RPG. It was officially released this weekend and was very well received.

June 19-July 11, 2010-

The framed original pencil drawing for Atlas Games' upcoming Unknown Armies PDF supplement Thin Black Line is on view and for sale at the 45th Annual Fence Show at The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Main Gallery, Troy, NY. The Fence Show will be up until July 11, 2010.

June 15, 2010- Completed a full-color cover illustration for Atlas Games' upcoming Unknown Armies PDF supplement Thin Black Line. Thanks to writer Chad Underkoffler and producer Jeff Tidball for asking me to be part of this project. I will post a preview and more news soon.

June 14, 2010- Completed nine full-color illustrations for Hero Games' Fantasy Hero. I will post the artwork and more information in the near future.

June 13, 2010- Appeared at Sci-Fi & Fantasy Extravaganza, Best Western Albany Airport Inn, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Thanks to organizer Daniel Gremmler and the Ancient Earth Entertainments crew for another fun show.

I just received my copy of Future Funk #1. Another eclectic offering from the "Father of the Black Age" Turtel Onli, this issue is a compilation of pop-culture bites about Onyxcon; Black Age comics, creators, and artists; and paying tribute to the "Godfather of Soul" James Brown.

As a follow-up to a previous post on the Albany River Rats Hall of Fame presentation, page 7 of the Albany River Rats Booster Club's March 10th issue of club newsletter Rat Tales has pictures of the Albany River Rats Hall of Fame on-ice presentation of the Coach John Cunniff portrait.

Six illustrations from Hero System Ultimate Base and six illustrations from Hero System Martial Arts are up in the Black and White section. Both books are now available from Hero Games.

February 28, 2010-

Completed my section of 26 full-color illustrations for Evil Hat Productions' The Dresden Files Role Playing Game. This includes coloring the previously completed black and white Dresden Files RPG illustrations.

The Dresden Files RPG is slated for release at the Origins Game Fair, June 23, 2010 in Columbus, OH. Stay tuned for more news and previews.

February 19- 21, 2010-

Attended Dreamation, Hyatt Morristown, Morristown, NJ. Thanks to Vinny Salzillo for putting on a fun show and for being a huge proponent of high-quality independent games.

Had a chance to meet Brennan Taylor from Indie Press Revolution and Galileo Games. I also met Chad Underkoffler (Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies), Evil Hat Productions' Rob Donoghue, Hero Games' President Darren Watts, game designers Elizabeth Shoemaker and Shreyas Sampat, and Larry Wickman of Gamewick Games.

I had a chance to spend some time with Ryan Macklin. We had a good conversation about his in-the-works game Mythender. We discussed options for the rule book and hope to work together on the illustrations in the near future

February 5, 2010- Completed two illustrations for Catalyst Game Labs' BattleTech. More details to come.

January 26, 2010- Evil Hat Productions has announced that The Dresden Files Role Playing Game will release at the Origins Game Fair, June 23, 2010. Read further details on the announcement in the official press release. In addition to coloring my previously completed black and white Dresden Files RPG illustrations, I have been asked to provide12 more full-color pieces for the project. Production is still ongoing, more details and previews to come.

January 22, 2010-

The Albany River Rats hockey team unveiled their Hall of Fame exhibit at the team's home arena the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. The Albany River Rats Booster Club sponsored the Coach John Cunniff section of the display and commissioned me to paint a portrait of Coach Cunniff for the exhibit.

Coach Cunniff was coach of the River Rats from 1996 to 2001. He also served as Assistant Coach for the Salt Lake City and Nagano Men's Olympic Hockey Teams. Most of all Coach Cunniff was dedicated to developing and preparing young players for the NHL or international arena. It was an honor to be part of paying tribute to such a storied and revered hockey personality.

January 7, 2010- Kurt Wiegel reviews Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies (S7S) in Game Geeks #129. The video shows many of the illustrations, but you can also see two pages from the game here and here and all of my S7S illustrations here.

January 5, 2010- Completed a set of six illustrations for Hero Games' Martial Arts. The illustrations depict various fantastic martial arts combat maneuvers. I will post the artwork in the near future.
