December 17, 2017- Appeared at Heroes Hideout, 250 Broadway, Rensselaer, NY for Last Jedi Weekend. Thanks to Steve Duckett and the store patrons for a fun afternoon celebrating Star Wars, snow storms, and sketch cards.

December 3, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery for more Art Is A Gift III during the Victorian Stroll in Troy, NY. Thanks to gallery proprietors Kaedy and Phil Caiozzo and all the strollers who stopped in.

December 2, 2017- Appeared at Alterniverse's 8th Annual Toys For Tots Toy Drive, Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute, Poughkeepsie, NY. Thanks to Cliff Parmeter, Jim Dunaway, Anthony Just, Kathleen Murphy, Dutchess County Toys For Tots, the US Marine Corps, fellow guests, and attendees for another wonderful Alterniverse Toys For Tots celebration.

November 24-25, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY for Art Is A Gift III and Small Business Saturday. The 'Art Is A Gift' project embodies the notion of offering artwork as a viable gift alternative during the holiday season. Thanks to Argyle Gallery proprietors Kaedy and Phil Caiozzo, Argyle Gallery regulars and new faces, and all the folks who dropped in.

November 9, 2017- Appeared at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Hyde Park, NY for their annual Game Day. Thanks to Carlene Schlemmer Kara and her talented and thoughtful students for the invitation and hospitality. Thanks also to Alterniverse's Anthony Just for facilitating the appearance.

November 5, 2017- Appeared at Albany Comic and Toy Show, Radisson, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Thanks to John and Matt Belskis; Rocco, Wayne, and the convention staff; fellow vendors and guests; and show attendees for a fun-filled day.

I contributed a pencil drawing entitled "If The Leaves are Three..." to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. charity art auction. Thanks to all who participated in this show's auction by donating items or bidding.

My contribution to this group exhibition was a pencil drawing of The Frankenstein Monster. October 21, 2017- Appeared at Author Con & Movie Fest, Holiday Inn Oneonta/ Cooperstown, Oneonta, NY. Thanks to Dennis Gager, Author Con and hotel staff, fellow guests, and attendees for an entertaining, memorable, and truly unique show.

October 1, 2017- Appeared at Uticon, The Jorgensen Center, Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, NY. Thanks to Bob Elinskas for the invitation to be part of this charitable event. Thanks also to fellow guests, vendors, and attendees for their support and generosity.

September 29, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY for this month's Troy Night Out Circus Circus exhibition. My contribution to this show is a Fee Jee Mermaid inspired by P. T. September 3, 2017- Appeared at Upstate NY Collector's Show, The Venue @ St. Joseph's, Cohoes, NY. Thanks again to Dan O'Neill and fellow vendors for a fun and eclectic event.

August 25, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY for this month's Troy Night Out exhibition, the Jack 'King' Kirby 100th Birthday Gala. This exhibition honored the work and contributions of comic book legend Jack 'King' Kirby on his 100th anniversary and featured the work of Argyle Gallery regulars and new faces, all local artists. My contribution to this exhibition was a pencil drawing of Marvel Comics' Jack Kirby and Joe Simon creation, Captain America. "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave." Flanking the super soldier were other Kirby creations Groot, Big Barda, and Darkseid. Thanks to Argyle's Kaedy and Phil Caiozzo, fellow artists, and Troy Night Out attendees.

July 28, 2017- This month's Troy Night Out exhibition at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY featured the artwork of local artists- Argyle regulars and new contributors- in the theme of 'It Came From The Sea.' My contribution was a pencil drawing of the notorious pirate Edward Teach, Commonly Call'd Blackbeard. Thanks to Argyle's Kaedy and Phil Caiozzo.

June 10-11, 2017- Prints of the Salem's Lot's Kurt Barlow, Carrie Fisher as Star Wars' Leia Organa, and The Sacred Heart will be on view at the 7th Annual Cohoes Artist Showcase being held at Cohoes Music Hall, 58 Remsen Street, Cohoes, NY. This brief but wonderful show is organized by Choose Cohoes for Art and is designed to increase awareness of the arts and artists in New York's Capital Region.

A framed print of The Sacred Heart and Salem's Lot's Kurt Barlow will be part of the auction to benefit Choose Cohoes for Art productions and the Lise Toch Creative Arts Education Fund.

Thanks to Fred Neudoerffer, Kathy Klompas, Dave Koschnick, and Choose Cohoes for Art for another fine Cohoes arts event.

June 4, 2017- Appeared at Albany Comic Con 19, Radisson, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Thanks to John Belskis, Rocco, Wayne, and the Albany Comic Con team as well as the vendors and fellow artist alley participants. Special thanks to the convention attendees. May 18-July 2, 2017- Framed digital prints of the pencil drawing of Salem's Lot's Kurt Barlow and the pencil drawing of Carrie Fisher as Star Wars' Leia Organa will be on view at the 52nd Annual Fence Show at The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Main Gallery, Troy, NY. The Fence Salon runs from May 18th to July 2nd, 2017.

May 6, 2017- Celebrated Free Comic Book Day at Alterniverse, Hyde Park, NY. Thanks to Alterniverse's Anthony Just and Steve; fellow guest and Argyle Gallery regular Raymond Lowell; and all the friends, family, and comic book fans who stopped by.

April 8, 2017- Appeared at The Heroes and Villains Con, Heroes and Villains, Cortland Corset Factory, Cortland, NY. Thanks to proprietors Stephen Vincent, Jr., Vanessa Mielke, and Dallas; show organizer Dan Sopp; and fellow vendors for another fun-filled and fast-moving Heroes and Villains event. Special thanks to all of the attendees for their generosity and support of this expanded, second edition of The Heroes and Villains Con. Looking forward to what the Heroes and Villains family have in store for 2018!

April 2, 2017- Appeared at the Albany Toy Show, Radisson, Wolf Road, Albany, NY. Thanks to John and Matt Belskis and the Albany Toy Show team for a great day. This Toy Show was dedicated to the memory of Comic Depot's Darren Carrara who passed away suddenly in November 2016. The day's events included various fundraising outlets by the Toy Show team, artists, and vendors to support Darren's family in this difficult time. Thanks to all of the participants and show attendees for their kindness and generosity.

March 31, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY for this month's Troy Night Out Artist's Choice exhibition. As part of this group exhibition I chose to reshow the framed print of The Sacred Heart pencil drawing. March 26, 2017- I had the pleasure of crossing paths once again with Joe Ryan from Graphic Policy earlier this year at Genericon XXX. Joe has just posted a Graphic Policy YouTube video where he reviews the artwork he's purchased from me and fellow Genericon exhibitor and Argyle Gallery alum, Raymond Lowell. March 25, 2017- Appeared at Argyle Gallery, 4th Street, Troy, NY for this month's Drink and Draw. Thanks to gallery proprietors Phillip and Kaedy Caiozzo and the Argyle gang for a night of discussion and conversation.

March 19, 2017- Appeared at the Upstate NY Collector's Show, The Venue @ St. Joseph's, Cohoes, NY. Thanks to Dan O'Neill for another fun show. The Upstate NY Collector's Show is quickly shaping up to be a destination for fans of eclectic collectibles, sports memorabilia, and comics.

Today's show was dedicated to the memory of Darren Carrara, owner of Comic Depot in Saratoga Springs, NY, who passed away suddenly in November 2016. Darren was a highly regarded member of the local comic book and convention family and will be sorely missed. Dan O'Neill and a number of creators, convention organizers, fans, and friends are working to help the Carrara family in this difficult time. In conjunction with Dan and the Upstate NY Collector's Show, I created a print of Babe Ruth on the Iron Throne wielding Negan's baseball bat, Lucille- the concept provided by Mr. O'Neill. The print was debuted at today's show and will be available at future appearances, while supplies last. Each of the 25 limited edition prints is signed and numbered by me and priced at $20 with all proceeds to benefit the Carrara family.

March 9, 2017- Appeared at Dutchess Community College, Poughkeepsie, NY where I joined the Visual Arts Club for an afternoon talk about the process and business of art. Thanks to club representative Kelsey Whalen, advisors Holly McCabe and Lindsey, and the Club for their thoughtful discussion and hospitality. Looking forward to dropping in again sometime.

March 3-5, 2017- Appeared at Genericon XXX, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute campus, Troy, NY. Thanks to Artist Alley Coordinator Kathryn DiPippo, Genericon staff, fellow vendor and Argyle Gallery alum Raymond Lowell, and all of the convention attendees for another fun-filled weekend.

March 2, 2017- Finished a print of Babe Ruth for the Upstate NY Collector's Show. These prints are for sale at Finnigan's Sportscards, 1593 Central Ave, Albany, NY, starting on March 3rd. Each of the 25 limited edition prints is signed, numbered, and priced at $25 which includes free admission to the March 19th Upstate NY Collector's Show at the Venue, Cohoes, NY. All proceeds from the sale of this print will be donated to the family of Comic Depot's Darren Carrara who passed suddenly in November 2017.
